Born and raised in the Bronx, Bryan's path led him to Hampton University, where he earned a Bachelor's in Sociology before embarking on a year of service with City Year, dedicating himself to underserved communities in Louisiana. Driven by a passion for social justice and education, Bryan pursued a Master's in Social Work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Today, as the Director of the FLI Network at Johns Hopkins University, Bryan champions the success of first-generation and limited-income students, aligning resources and supports to empower their journey.

Bryan is motivated by the values of equity, knowledge, and opportunity. Bryan’s experience working with FLI students and communities spans across higher education, K-12, and non-profit sectors with a portfolio that includes: partner development, leading and managing teams, training and curriculum development, program design, student leadership and advocacy, success coaching, and teaching.

Recognized as an Emerging Leader by Focus St. Louis, St. Louis Business Journal's 30 Under 30, and most recently, an honoree of the Brown School of Social Work Alumni Emerging Leader Award, Bryan's contributions to post-secondary access, success, and higher education have had a profound impact on the students and communities in which he has worked.
