Women To Watch 2024 honoree Aubria Ralph

Aubria Ralph is a Caribbean-American polymath. Ralph spent the first twelve years of her life on the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and had a desperate curiosity to know as much she could about everything she could. Her family members have fond memories of her love of reading and being a “ready-made kid”. Often coloring in the lines, Ralph was either engaged in academics or organized fun, to which she credits her discipline and self-motivation to achieve her goals.

Before starting her journey as an author and start-up business owner, Ralph had three successful careers in corporate retail training and development at a variety of retail chains and high-end boutiques, higher education at City University of New York and more recently cross-border banking and finance attorney at two top-50 law firm. Ralph is currently a member of Brooklyn Law School's Alumni Board as well as the BLS Women's Leadership Circle. She cares deeply for her community and engages in philanthropic efforts and always finds time to mentor college and law students. She has also done Pro Bono legal work focused on immigration law and individual rights' constitutional law cases.

Ralph currently resides in New York City and credits her success to her close-knit family and her relationship with Jesus. Her book series, The Adventures of Boo and Chin, combines Ralph’s experiences as a child with those of her loved ones and their children. Ralph also writes weekly informative articles in newsletters Blacxellence Is a Threat and Scrappy Girl Project that are publicly available on LinkedIn. She is currently working on two non-fiction book projects and plans on releasing a devotional and workbook, Reimagining Image, in April 2024.

When she's not busy outlining and sketching a new book or newsletter idea, Ralph is the CEO and founder of a new professional consulting firm and community, Scrappy Girl Project LLC, leveraging her varied professional and personal experiences to advise business clients on discrete and bespoke matters. Her primary goal in launching Scrappy Girl Project is helping women discover and project their authentic voice first and helping women-owned businesses plan and execute projects using every scrap of talent they already have.

Ralph may be the only person who is currently doing everything, everywhere, all at once, to reference the 2023 Oscar-winning movie. Be on the lookout for Aubria Ralph; she is certainly full of surprises even when you’re looking and we are certain she has many surprises in store for the Adventures of Boo and Chin series and Scrappy Girl Project.
